Actually, it may be more reasonable than you think. If the sheep are really that size, a simple dog house will suffice as a barn. If anyone looks over the fence in your back yard and accuses you of harboring sheep, you can draw yourself up to your full height of 5'1", and tell them these are abused dogs that you are rehabilitating. Should work!

I have a postal/kitchen weigher that you are welcome to. I love you and hope you are feeling better soon. I am finding that eating two clemintines a day and washing my hands before I touch my face or eat, and as soon as I get home is helping. Also, removing shoes at the door and putting on slippers seems to keep out the germs.

Call me, I am home. It is FRIDAY! :)

Okay, I will take a stab at this. We have moved from a society that is ‘poor’ because our citizens have a surplus of resources. We have created this surplus because we have learned to become more efficient. We have specialized. Not all people are at the same level on this world. Some are still ‘poor.’ This does not ,mean they are less smart. It just means that they have not learned the skills yet to become ‘rich’ and have more resources.

You might liken it to a parent and a child. The child might be unhappy to not be able to drive a car, and not be able to leave the house when they want, but given sufficient time and when the have learned more, they, too presumably will be able to leave and drive at will.
One of the fundamental tasks we ‘rich’ have is to learn to manage interfaces. Sometimes the interfaces are between tasks and sometimes they are between us and other people who have not learned yet to be ‘rich.’ Mendalian laws suggest that the fittest will survive.

I think in our society, that those who can manage the interfaces in our environment, will do best. If you are reacting to a situation, then you are not assuming a dispassionate stance whereby you can evaluate the best method of managing the interface.

I propose that allowing yourself to become upset with those who are unable to deal with the constant changes that our resource-surplus environment generates is futile. Your time is better spent in creating a form to capture the name of the company and person that you speak with, their telephone number and extension, the date and the substance of the conversation and if possible the cancellation code.

You also need to have a follow-up mechanism set up so that they have to send you confirming information that they have acted upon your call or you will call again. This form is retained for future reference; if nothing else, it is useful for writing to their supervisor.

Hope this helps to put these recurring situations into perspective. As I always say, you keep getting the same problem over and over again until you learn to solve it. Choose to be happy.

Ahhh, the mystic of advertising that creates a ‘perceived’ value from something that has no apparent use or value when first presented to the market place. We are vulnerable to these suggested alternative values when they are couched in ways that make the product appear special, rare, or exclusive.
